BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

Hello guys, thanks to you my blog was recently awarded the BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD from Malalai Sana, a great blogger from  Secrets Of Great Minds. Once again Malalai, thanks a bunch for selecting and honouring me with such a fabulous award really, it means a lot to me.
Now here's the catchy thing about receiving this award, I get to award other 15 bloggers. So sit tight, cos you might want in on this.

THE BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

Although the Blogger Recognition Award is not an actual award, it is a great way to connect with other bloggers and get more readers.

However, to get in, here are a few rules to follow when accepting this award.

I must thank the blogger who nominated me and provide a link to their blog.

• I must write a post to show the award.

• I must write a brief story on how my blog started.

• I must give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
• I must select 15 bloggers to pass this award to.
• I must comment on each of their blogs to let them know they have been nominated for this award and provide a link to this post.

A BRIEF STORY ON HOW EMPRESSING STARTED
I kinda started blogging in 2015 at Lydiasofficialblog and my niche was news and media.
I love to read and write. I read everything I come across and I write everything, from articles to music, poems, drama and short stories too.
My first blog didn't work out because I wasn't being me like I wanted to inspire people, be a motivation, share my life's experiences and people embrace their true self but blogging in news and media wasn't helping do that.
So in March, I started Empressing and it's given me the platform to share who I am, help people, and be myself. My greatest desire is to be an inspiration and add value to people's lives.

ADIVcE TO NEW BLOGGERS
My first advice is this: Just write. Don't begin to think about how much other bloggers are making and blah blah blah. The best thing is to just do what you love and what you know can enlighten or entertain your readers because hey, you're nothing without them.
Don't get into blogging because of the money you hear bloggers make.
Endeavour to create great content, the money will come later.
Seriously, don't repeat my mistake. When I started in 2015, I wanted to make money so I went into news and media. It was what almost everyone was doing and since Nigeria's most famous blogger Linda Ikeji operates in the same niche, I felt I was going to make a lot of money too. So take it from one who knows, you don't wanna do that too.

Second advice is this, while you build a cool relationship with your readers, don't forget to do same with your fellow bloggers.
One thing is certain "Bloggers will always Support Bloggers."
They can play a major role in your rising, and also in your falling.
Connect with bloggers in your niche, share ideas, do guest posting, you'll even drive more traffic to your site.

These are the blogs that I have chosen to give this award, they've got great content and I really recommend it to everyone who wants to read something new and inspiring.

1.Jessica Ijezie of Nature and Health
Jessie you still wow me though. Hell, I bet you wow your entire audience. There's always something new to learn from you every time.
In health and fitness, your site's the best I've seen.
Keep it up, honey.

2.Denis Doan of Blog Denis Deoan
Denis, really I'm so happy to find someone who blogs in my niche too. Love your tips on how to get a girlfriend, bet the menfolk will find it really helpful. And your theme looks great too.

3.Braden Becknell of Knowing Jesus Better
Becknell, you're doing a great job helping people to Christ, the greatest joy one can ever have is knowing that Jesus loves us. I love your site and seriously pray that God gives you the grace to continue saving lives.

4. Darla Dinizo Slade of Fun Fitness Family
Darla, I hereby recommend your site to every family I know, really you've got great tips on how the family can stay fit and still stick close. Your tips are amazing and families will find your site really helpful. More grease to your elbow.

5.Yunus Aydin of  Yazilim & Bilim
Yunus, recently my little boy told me of his desire to learn ethical hacking, guess I've found him a teacher. Your lessons are cool and great for anyone who wants to go further in coding and like I said, my boy will be learning from you now.

6.Kristin Marie of This Wife and Mommy Life
Kristen, hell.. you make me want to be a mommy in a hurry.
I enjoyed every post I read on your site, for one. you are an amazing mama and writer.
Every mum will definitely find your site wonderful, educative and helpful.

7.Jennifer Piper of Surviving Lifes Curveballs
Jennifer, I must admit, you have one hell of a site. Damn ..it looks amazing!
Your stories on self-improvement and anxiety addiction are really helpful and inspiring. keep up the good work.

8.Karin Smith of I Am The Kraken
Karin the first time I visited your site was in April and I said to myself " now this is a blogger". I love your articles, they are really helpful and motivating. You seem to know everything every time.

9.Dan Newman of Dan Newman Writer
Dan, I love the way you write. It's like you are speaking to close friend that knows you really well. I went through your post and I felt like I was confindant. That's really great and I bet your audience love you for it. And just like you, I get all pissy when I don't get my way lol, it's really annoying.

11.D'flas Illbee of Chris Mega Gist Online
Illbee your site keeps me updated on everything entertainment. In a country where rumour abounds it's cool to know that yours is a site that sticks to true and verified information.
Keep it up.

12.Shards Rusell of Shards Loray
Shards I like your argument on the Writers Block thing. Although I know it does exist, I've faced it, once in a while though.
But the truth also is that once you decide to write, you can write.
Keep up the good work and your site looks good.

13.Karen LeeAnn Fox of My Veteran Woman
Dorie your story is so inspiring, I remember my mum not being home when I got back from school but I knew she had to work to feed herself and I and then I had to leave. I missed her all those times but I still love her and seriously can't give her up for anything in the World. Balancing childcare and work is not easy for single mums, but like you said, "you did the best thing you could at the time under the circumstances" and I bet you're a great mum. Keep up the good work.

14. Realise Mwase of Reecollections

Mwase serving God is a priviledge and truly we are born with a need to know God better.
And about the lady, I believe God spoke to you, too bad she missed a life changing opportunity. remain in the Lord's vineyard.

15.Tania Luviano of Latina Mom

Tania you've really convinced that I can really grill a steak and boy, I love meat.
And your tips on how to go about it, really make sense. Thanks to you I'll be trying something new tomorrow.

Well, fellow bloggers, congratulation and keep doing what you know how to do best.

Finally, Thanks, Malalai Sana for nominating me for this award.
